My chosen genre of music is 'pop'. I will be exploring this genre in further detail throughout the course as this is the genre of music I intend to incorporate in my products. As mentioned in my previous posts, I enjoyed analysing the 'rock n roll' aspect that the band McFly successful capture in their most recent image and I therefore decided to research the influence of 'rock n roll' in modern day pop music.
After this research, I have therefore decided to explore the rock n roll aspect to pop music as I feel it has proven popular with the McFly example. As my research progresses, I aim to decide upon a definite sub-genre and will use my Facebook Media Research group to help me with this by asking what their thoughts are on a particular genre.
