As mentioned in a previous blog post, I found myself in a pickle when I ran out of time at my narrative venue and didn't get all of the filming done that I had initially intended. I therefore turned to this venue after mind mapping a list of places that I could contact regarding shooting in their disabled loo. The reason I need a disabled loo was for the wider area of space and I had to organise the band members also at a time that was convenient with them.
At first I contacted my college, and as I was aware I had limited time to film this section and needed it filming asap I found that this was the best alternative. Here is the message I sent to the college asking for help:
As you can see from my message, this was, at the time, the only available date to get the band together. As I was unsuccessful in this quest, I then contacted my friend, Gareth, as can be seen on this earlier post: http://laurenwainemediaa2.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/stills-from-final-shoot.html
I therefore got in to the venue and was given no time restraints. I found the venue very helpful with moving equipment and am very grateful to them for it.
Here is my Recce of the venue, as well as some images taken on my mobile phone;
