Inspirational Text- McFly, That Girl

Finally, this inspirational text from McFly I believe is the most appropriate of videos to promote to a teenage audience. This video is flooded with innuendo, however nothing is overtly expletive and offensive. I believe that the attempt to win the affections of the girl rather than to objectify her show the male band members in a more positive light and although slightly sexualised, the female protagonist is shown as naive yet playful with the boys. I believe that this is a good quality to promote to a young teenage audience. 
Although I intend on making it clear in my video that the boys are sexually/physically attracted to the female character, I wish to incorporate the element of 'flirting' and 'wooing' in my video that this example video exudes. I would much rather explore this element of the pop genre that incorporates fun and lightheartedness rather than exploitation of women who, like in the other videos featured in the other posts, are there in extremely revealing clothing and willing to cater to the males desires. 
I believe the woman having the upper hand in this example video, and in mine is something to be explored to subvert the stereotype of the woman being wooed by portraying her to have no desire in their attempts. This mixture of comedy and inverted stereotype creates a comical portrayal of foolish males (an endearing quality for my target audience) and cements the unrealistic and artificiality nature of the video- thus avoiding any threatening portrayals of the female character.
