Here are some stills from the 'live' element of the production of my music video. I decided to keep the band in a uniform as it is conventional of pop/rock music videos and makes them retro and keeping to the rock and roll origins of the pop/rock genre. This shows them as a unit, whilst the slight differences in how they wear the costume, such as sleeve length etc shows them as individuals also.
Here is a still from the narrative moving image shoot taken in Tutti Frutti. I like the difference in costume to highlight the difference between reality and superficiality which is demonstrated in this element of my video. I felt that the orange bow ties were a 'cute' costume idea, one that would attract my younger target audience as they find the male band members attractive in a cute and embarrassing way. This automatically places my female target audience at a higher standpoint, encouraging them to feel as though they are in control of the action of the video.
